Sean McNulty
BSc Industrial Design, Adj Professor in Innovation (DCU Business School), NSAI /SiS Certified Innovation Management Professional
Co-Founder of Insight Innovate. In 1991, Sean founded Dolmen, an internationally award-winning design and innovation consultancy. Sean is Chairperson of the NSAI Innovation Committee and on the international working group for the development of ISO 56000 and 56002. He is currently leading the national team in the development of ISO 56001, a certifiable Innovation Management System standard. Sean has provided innovation support to numerous Enterprise Ireland and IDA client companies over the past 3 years.

Eilís Skelly
BSc Product Design. MA Design, Strategy and Innovation.
Co-Founder of Insight Innovate. Eilís has over 14 years experience providing innovation, design thinking and innovation management support to entrepreneurs, SMEs and multinationals in Ireland, the UK and the US. Eilís has a considerable track record of delivering design and innovation programmes on behalf of public development bodies.

Brendan Staunton
MBA, BSc in BioInnovation, BSc in Neuroscience
Brendan is Co-Founder and CEO Amara Therapeutics. He holds an honours degree in Neuroscience from UCD, an MSc in BioInnovation from NUIG and an Executive MBA from Michael Smurfit Business School. Brendan is a BioInnovate Fellow 2017/2018, an affiliate of the Stanford BioDesign specialist medical device innovation programme. Brendan is an accomplished sales professional and leader of innovative high-performance teams.

Colin Rose
Building on a background of establishing and grown a variety of businesses in the past 27 years, Colin has spent most of the past 5 years delivering training, mentorship, coaching and 1-2-1 support to businesses across Scotland and Ireland through a range of Economic Development Programmes.
By education a lawyer, by inclination and engineer and by practice an entrepreneur, Colin combines the procedural rigour and diligence of the law, with the analytical and inquisitive nature of the engineer and optimism and blue sky thinking of the entrepreneur, to deliver value to clients and customers alike.

Ronald is a senior management consultant specialising in innovation and digital systems. He has a background in, organisational learning, design thinking digital innovation change management. His work takes him across the UK and Europe, working with the public, private and third sectors as part of multi-site and multi-organisation partnerships.

Paul Anglim
Ph.D: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology.
Founder & CEO, Angles Consulting. Paul was with BioInnovate Ireland for 10 years working across fundraising, mentorship, recruitment, strategic growth, national and global engagement and support of the alumni.
He has held multiple roles at the European Funder EIT Health including partnership development lead, member of board of directors UK/Ireland, and strategic advisory on the Accelerator Advisory Board. Paul was a Development Adviser with Health Innovation Hub Ireland.

Alan Doherty
Alan Doherty is founder of Novara Labs and a seasoned innovation leader with extensive experience in design thinking, strategy, and sustainability. Formerly Head of Innovation Design at Citibank’s Global Innovation Lab, he has led major programs for Fortune 500 companies, government bodies, and startups alike.
Alan is also a board member of Innovate Island and lectures on innovation at DCU and Maynooth University.

Katie Nolan
Katie Nolan is an innovation specialist with a background in healthcare, design thinking, and needs-led innovation. A qualified physiotherapist with over a decade of global clinical experience, Katie has worked in high-performance environments including Cirque du Soleil, Red Bull Athlete Performance, and advanced practice roles alongside spinal surgeons in Ireland.
She holds a First-Class Honours Master’s in Public Health (Epidemiology & Biostatistics) from UCC and is a graduate of the BioInnovate Fellowship (Neurology) at the University of Galway. Katie has since led the launch of Europe’s first executive-level Biodesign programme for senior medtech leaders and has delivered innovation training to over 120 individuals across multinational corporations, SMEs, and postgraduate university programmes.

Certified in the ISO 56000 family of Global standards that run under a Shared Language and Framework, driving Innovation success which ultimately ensures client success and is sector agnostic.
